Angela Zeringue is currently the Plant Manager for the Exxon Mobil Baton Rouge Plastic Plant in Louisiana.
Angela’s career with ExxonMobil has been spent in the manufacturing arm of the company, entirely in their Baton Rouge facilities. She is a Louisiana native, having grown up in Destrehan, and graduating from Destrehan High School and Tulane University.
She began work with Exxon in polyethylene manufacturing at the Baton Rouge Plastics Plant (BRPP) as a summer intern in 1987. After graduating from Tulane University in Chemical Engineering in 1988, she spent several years at the BRPP in a variety of assignments, including product development, customer service and operations management. She moved to ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge Chemical Plant in 2000 as the Halobutyl Department Manager and then Polymers Operations Manager. She then served as the Unit Maintenance Department Manager in the Mechanical Division of the Baton Rouge complex.
In 2006, she became the Baton Rouge Area Engineering Services Division Manager, supporting Refining and Supply as well as Chemicals facilities in the Baton Rouge area. In 2010, she became the plant manager for the Baton Rouge Polyolefins Plant, which manufactures Polyethylene and Polypropylene. She assumed her current role as the Plastics Plant Manager in late 2018.
Angela currently serves as the management sponsor of the Women’s Interest Network. She is on the boards of Louisiana Association of Business and Industry , Baker Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Baton Rouge Industrial Alliance. Angela is married and has two sons.
