RYAN GUERIN: Ryan joined Coastal Conservation Association in 2006, and has held various positions, most recently that of Outreach Director. Guerin is in charge of fundraising, publicity, association management, volunteer development and recruitment, event planning and maintaining relationships with the state legislature regarding coastal conservation and Marine issues. In his current role, Ryan lends his talents and expertise to the growth and development of CCA’s Youth Outreach Program. Outreach is a program designed to educate, excite and intrigue youngsters and adults about recreational fishing and the conservation of our marine resources. Ryan visits schools across the state giving presentations to various groups of young anglers. The presentation is an enthusiastic “show and tell” about CCA, including fish identification, tagging equipment/technique and interesting facts.
DAVID CRESSON: David Cresson is the Executive Director and CEO of the Coastal Conservation Association of Louisiana. In that role, David oversees the organization’s conservation programs, legislative initiatives, and coordinates development activities with CCA’s 30 local chapters and over 20,000 members and volunteers. He also oversees CCA’s staff at its Baton Rouge headquarters. Born and raised in Metairie, David says his awareness of and interest in marine conservation comes from his many years of fishing along Louisiana’s coast.
