Renee Antoine serves as the State Director of Maternal and Infant Health for March of Dimes-Louisiana. Her primary role is to develop and implement state programs that will assist in reducing premature birth, infant/maternal mortality and inequities within perinatal systems. In collaboration with local, state, and national partners, she executes launching medical and community interventions that will drive collective impact outcomes.
Her most recent accolades include managing the Federal Healthy Start Program of Southern Oregon, which combats perinatal health disparities, as well as coordinating the area’s regional health equity coalition.
Renee’s roots are embedded in Louisiana where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Her graduate studies research path continued to the University of Iowa in epigenetics as a McNair Scholar and culminated at the University of Virginia where she published studies on executive function in children.
