Philanthropic Events

Louisianans know how throw a stellar party and pass a good time. Our annual community events are as much about hugging old friends and laughing with new ones as much as they are raising awareness and money for our community partners who we support financially. Don’t be a stranger now ya hear?

Beer, Bands & BBQ

Beer, Bands & BBQ, Sunrise Rotary’s fall fundraiser, raises thousands of dollars each year for the purchase of new school uniforms for children in East Baton Rouge Parish through the Uni-forms for Kids program sponsored by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. This annual event is held at the Rural Life Museum with food provided by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, beverages donated by members and a silent auction with items provided by Sunrise Rotarians.

Corn Hole Tournament

Corn Hole Tournament, Sunrise Rotary’s spring fundraiser, raises thousands of dollars each year to help further our ability to give generously and with very little overhead to our community partners. Hosted downtown at Tin Roof brewing, teams compete to win the coveted corn hole cup crown and with it the bragging rights for the next year. Rain or shine, we hope to see you join us for live music, corn hole tossing, yummy food and cold beer!
