Rotaract Club of LSU
Rotaract is a service club for young men and women, ages 18 to 30, who are dedicated to community and international service.
There are over 184,000 Rotaract members in more than 8,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary clubs are self-governing and self-supporting and can be either university- or community-based.
Rotaract LSU was founded in April 1993 by the Rotary International and is sponsored by Sunrise Rotary of Baton Rouge, which offers guidance and support to make this college-based club a “partner in service” and a member of the family of Rotary.
Rotaract provides service-minded student members opportunities for community service, leadership development, professional development, and international service. Sunrise Rotary is working with LSU to reinstate the Rotaract Club of LSU this year.
