Our operating costs are less than 1%, which allows us to give more than $25,000 annually to strategic partners in the community who consistently improve Baton Rouge.

Beyond financial support is a resource everyone has: time and energy. It is a joy to roll up our sleeves often for the sake of loving our community well through programs like Salvation Army, Good Samaritan & more!

Our annual Beer, Bands & BBQ each fall and our Corn Hole Tournament each spring are the thrust of what helps us raise awareness and the majority of our capital to further empower our community service partners in the Greater Baton Rouge area. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Annually Sunrise Rotary recognizes one outstanding public servant from the BRPD, BRFD, Emergency Medical Service, EBR Sheriff’s Department, City Constable’s Office, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries, Louisiana State Police, and Louisiana State Parole and Probation Office.

Sunrise Rotarians assist at a welcome dinner at the beginning of the fall semester and adopt foreign students to give them a local person to help them feel at home in Baton Rouge.
